Account Deletion
If you want to delete your MacronAI account and associated data, you can do it directly in the app or contact our support team.
Delete in the App
Follow these simple steps to delete your account:
- Open the MacronAI app on your device
- Navigate to Settings (tap the gear icon)
- Scroll down and tap Delete account
- Confirm your decision when prompted
The deletion process will begin immediately after confirmation.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Your account profile and authentication data
- Your logged meals and scan history
- Your saved preferences and settings
- Any photos you've uploaded (unless opted into training data)
What May Be Retained
We may retain limited information where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, or billing purposes. This includes:
- Store purchase records handled by Apple/Google
- Anonymized analytics data that cannot identify you
- Legal compliance records (where required by law)
