• Food and nutrition data: items you scan/log, portions, nutrition results, and edits/corrections you make.
• Photos and uploads: food photos you submit for scanning and (if you opt in) photos/corrections you contribute for improving results.
• App usage and diagnostics: device/app info, crash logs, and performance data (e.g., request timing) to keep the Service reliable.

• Provide scanning, nutrition estimates, and logging features.
• Improve accuracy (e.g., Malaysian food mapping) and fix bugs.
• Provide support and respond to requests.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and monitor performance.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the Service (for example, cloud hosting, databases, analytics, and AI model providers). These providers are permitted to process information only for providing services to us.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our users and the Service.

Food photos are processed to detect foods and generate nutrition results. Some processing may be performed by third-party AI providers as part of delivering the Service.

If you opt in to contribute training data, we may store submitted photos and your corrections to improve detection and mapping quality.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your account (see below).

You can delete your account in the app. If you can't access the app, contact support@macronai.app.

The Service is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we'll take appropriate steps.

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice within the app.
